molly loosing scales

We have a black molly we just got from a LFS..once we got the bag home we noticed black bits in the bottom which was odd...Since getting her home she has given me 14 baby mollies who are doing fine but she seems to have lost some more scales around the top fin area...

Any ideas ?

Just add some salt to the tank for now one tablespoon to 5gal if you have no scaless fish in the tank, look at her body there is no white in between the scales is there.
