eveing,

After some advice. My partner and I are new to keeping koi carp and after moving to a house with a pond we decided to add some koi.

We went to a family friend today who is relocating and got 6 koi from them. The pond they came from was over 16tt deep so they hadn't seen the koi come to the surface for a while due to the cold weather.. anyway upon catching them then bag/boxing them we noticed one had some raise white lumps.

So far we have isolated it into a quarantine tub and plan to get a vet to see it.

However wanted to see if anyone on here has any suggestions as we feel mean separating it But if it's contagious want to reduce the outspread.

Many thanks

It looks like it might be carp pox; have a Google and see if that matches; I have to say, we're not great on pond fish on this forum, but I hope that helps :)
