K9 is back on Doctor Who tonight---love the new series,it is quite funny---can't wait to see K9 and Sarah-Jane(those were the days)

Hey, does anyone remember the episode where they had a "cliffhanger" ending - to be continued, the girl was buried in a rockfall in a quarry and reached her hand out through a hole, through the dust and rubble and the mutant/demon/alien hand grabbed hers and then it ended? I never saw the second in the series and never knew what happened.

Ok, this was about 1978....
