I'm a bad example

Mac. When I used to live down state, I used RO water exclusively. Since I have moved to the unspoiled northern part of my state, I use it from the tap. City gets it directly from the lake, and I am on a newer part of the grid. Even in some of my largest tanks, evap is only about two gallons a week. I live in a masonry home, so it is more humid than most.
And living on the lake keeps humidity up also. Also, my house rarely gets above 70 degrees. I will never need a chiller for my reef tank at least.
