I would have built the fishroom about 3 times the size, and never, ever refered to it as the spare bedroom. Should have started with a linear air pump, instead of the smaller pumps that run a tank or 2. Also should have ran a gas line for a small space heater & ditch the electric ones.

If I could do it all over again I would get 2 of my 6 Gallon tanks divided into 4 so space for 8 bettas. I would not have gotten my 9G tank and got one BIG tank (200G) and then got a 20G small community tank.
