This sinodontis eruptus lived in a 15 gallon tank it's hole life it's 12 years old now I got him when I was 11 years old so people I'm willing to get a 30 gallon for him what other fish do good with this cat fish and how many can I have also what new Biotope should I have for it in the tank

If you are going to get a larger tank try for a 55gal as even a 30gal is too small.

Medium sized cichlids do well with most synodontis species. You could get a couple parrot cichlids or a group of fire mouths. A pair of blue acara might do well also. Before deciding what to go with it is a good idea to know your pH and water hardness. Better to get fish that will do well in your water than discovering later that the water isn't good for the type of fish you have.
