I finally did it. I went to check my fish and my convicts had eggs in the pot. I left and came bak 2 hours later and there was 4 times as much! I think there is like 175-200 eggs. Took forever but i did it. First egg laying fish

See, told ya. Just needed some patience.

About 3 days for the eggs to hatch, expect free swimming fry 6-7 days after that. Then they grow fast. Mine are two weeks old and already twice as large and starting to get their stripes

THanks mustang 4 everything suks im not going to see hatch . Im leaving tomorrow and not coming bal til Tuesday. My bros going to take care of them. Do u know about any fish that are available in nevada but not california. Might get some cool ones. I heard of like a coral neon tetra that is the same beside the red being a flourescent orange.
