Just thought I'd update you, I bought a dat (pretty sure its an indo) today, my very first and I'm quite taken by it.
I'll try and get pics sometime soon but no guarantees when.
Its already eaten some frozen bloodworm and prawn so im quite chuffed at that.

they were bound to be indos they seem to be everywhere at the moment
at this rate in a few years they will be as rare as pulcher

With the influx of small indo's it wouldnt suprise me if they are being farmed in the far east now.

Hope this is true as I think it would mean more dats on the market so should result in a price drop hopefully. If that happens I can buy more of these fantastic fish, I paid £25 for mine and just can't afford to have 5+ of them, I really wish I could as they have become my favourite fish with their colour and personality, still abit shy but getting better. (well, maybe my oscar is still top but dats getting close).
