I bought 2 female platy fish from the pet shop today. The man at the pet store said that the one is pregnant and will have babies really soon. He said she was almost ready to drop her fry. I was wondering if someone would please take a look at the photo I attached and tell me approximitely how much longer it will be? I know you cant tellme exactly.. just an estimation is what I would like please. Also, I have her in my 10 gal. tank with the others, but have a 5 gal. ready for when she is ready to drop. When can I move her to the 5. gal and will this stress her out to be alone in it? I would like to raise the fry but do not have enoug plants or hiding spots in my 10 gal. tank.
