He actually is named Doofus because he is sooo funny...I suppose clown would also work in that situation...but I have always had a irrational fear of clowns...yuck...

LOL..yeah he is real...I got him from Aquariumfish.net...he is one of their butterfly bettas.... Here is a picture of him checking out his buddy Cornelius the Giant Ramshorn Snail...sorry it is so blurry...
