Can I use a tank that has had reptiles in it, If so what would I clean it with Im putting african cichlids in it?

you will have to clean it well. i got a used tank that had snakes in it at one time. rinsed it out with vinegar and then clear water. did the vinegar once as a wipe down and the clear water about 4 times.
