Hi All,
Just wanted to introduce ourselves (my hubby and I use the same username). While he is a fairly experienced aquarist (a couple tanks years ago), I am a complete newbie. Didn't think I'd enjoy it much, but am loving it! I've found lots of good info on this site.
We have 1 combtail Betta in a 2 gal "bachelor pad". We have a 30 gal hexangonal with 1 Betta, 3 Corys, 1 USD cat, 2 Angels, 1 cardinal tetra, and 1 Gold Nugget Plec. They all get along very well. Although the Betta and the Angels think they are catfish, since they are always pecking at the tablet pieces at the bottom! Now, before you complain, the tetra had 6 buddies, which quickly died, so he's all that's left. We've decided against any more after learning how sensitive they can be. And we also know that the Plec will get too big for the 30 gal, but we've got plans to get a bigger tank in a year or so...
