Golden Gouramis

Hi ,
Sorry if this is a daft question, but if I buy siblings as I could from any lfs but have knowledge the ones I may buy are, would it be wrong if they bred again, like Guppies? I know guppies are livebred but is it the same from egglayers.

Alot of siblings mate. If you look at how many bettas are bred nowadays there is often a great deal of sibling breeding in order to try for certain colours, tail types etc etc. The same happens with some gouramies to produce certain colours or characteristics.
Naturally a great deal of inbreeding will cause weakness in the line eventually so it's not something I would highly recommend if they do breed avoiding letting their offspring doing so with each other.
