Went to a fish store and saw what apeared to be a ghost shrimp, it was see through. Is there any other shrimp that i could of confused it with?

If it was in a tank with about a billion others (note slight exaggeration) then it was ghost shrimp. LFS sell them as feeders. I put about 6 into my tank thinking "If they are eating, it's a nice snack, and if they aren't they'll clean up.".......They were eaten by my dwarf cichlid and clown loaches. Fun to watch the shrimp swim , though.

I'm pretty sure this shrimp was on his own but then again i only had a quick look and there might have been more

I went to the lfs the other night and there were a few ghost shrimp trying to catch small cories in their tank. :X It was awful.

could be Amano shrimps, i have 3 in my tank. see through with red dots on their sides.

great little creatures but yes, tasty lunch for bigger fish.

they are very sensitive to NitrIte and NitrAte. so dont bother with them unless your tanks fully mature.
