Was at my LFS today and decided to try out Seachem GarlicGuard ( with vitamin C) And it seems they are eating just a little more with it added in there food. I've read the benefits of garlic consumption for humans but are there any benefits for fish's health wise? And is it safe to use on them long term during feedings?? Only thing I know is its really strong, and makes the house smell like a Italian bistro! :shout:

I just mixed some of my food with garlic to use an attractant. I have some wild caught fish that are refusing everything but bloodworms so I'm trying to attract them to the flake ad pellets with the garlic. I was also told it was good for creating unsavory conditions for internal parasites. Those are the two things I've been told about garlic.

its fine . in fact very good for your fish . it will boost immune system and appetite
