Fry keep going missing in fry tank?!

i know this sounds ridiculous and I’m sure there is not many ways you can help with this but every time I clean my breader box one fry goes missing-
Before I take the fry out I count them and then before I put them back into the box I count them and every time I have the same amount as when I took them out it’s just after I’ve put them back in I notice there is one missing- I check everything and everywhere too see where it has gone and I find nothing? It has gone 5,4,3 and now I am only left with two! I feel so bad for them and I don’t know what to do or how to stop it.
Has this ever happened to anyone else?
Is there any way you can help?

What sort of container are the fry in?

Why are you removing them when you clean their tank?
Just leave them in the tank and remove some water.

Colin is right. You should never be moving fry around.
