Flame Tetra Looking Ill

Haven't got much choice at the moment having the tetra on his own.
I had only one tetra once and he was fine. Lost his mates to old age.

I wouldn't restock the tank for at least 3 months if its ntd.
If you lose all the fish I would strip the tank down and start again.

When I had ntd I destroyed all the fish who were showing symtoms.
I still lost the lot by doing that.

Yeah if they do all die i am gonna be going back to the drawing board, bleaching everything out and redesigning. It's gonna be a while before i even think of putting more stock in the tank regardless of what happens. So much for a relaxing hobby eh?

Thanks Wilder. Despite this tank driving me up the wall i'm cycling a 5Gal for a betta and about to set up a 3ft tank for my dad. Talk about a glutton for punishment!

Just make sure you keep all tank maintance equpment steralised after use.

My dad has his own equipment now but he was sharing with me for a while and whatever it is hasn't been passed on to his livebearers and at the moment my 5Gal is still not processing the first dose of ammonia so not gonna be putting anything in there for a while but it will have it's own equipment

No there's been no further losses today. At the moment they are all looking healthy but i am keeping a close eye on them
