Fin color comparison!

Thought this was neat. It’s the difference between when I got my betta and how he looks now.

When I got him:

Now:

I feel like his fins have grown and they’re obviously more red. I was worried about the tip of his dorsal fin but I’m thinking it’s just because of age, as his water parameters are always kept clean and where they should be, plus there’s nothing in his tank that could have torn them up.

The blue and red is a very nice colouration.
The tail and fins look like they’re torn, but the fish look very healthy otherwise. I’d just keep an eye on them to see if they get any worse (or better).

How many weeks apart are the 2 photos taken?
