my black molly looks as if she is panting and looks heavily pregnant is she giving birth she has hid away from the other fish?

Breathing heavily can be gill flukes, poor water quality, chemicals, stress, or labour pains.

How long has the tank been set up for?
Have you checked the ammonia, nitrite, nitrate & pH and if yes, what were the results (in numbers)?
How often do you do water changes and gravel clean the substrate?
When was the last time you did a water change?
How often do you clean the filter and how do you clean it?
Have you added any new fish or plants to the tank in the last 2 weeks?
