it has been a lot of work to get this particular tank up.

I tried to make it as tanganyika as possible. But it lacked some green... SO i used anubias, to give it that 'reef-y look'

And then it was overrun by algae, so i used parrot's feather (out of my father's pond), it tends to keep the algae at bay...
And added some neritini

and then it was overrun by pond snails (not from the parrot feather, but from my other tank) and it came with some Malaysian tower snails from the previous tank.
So now it has some Anentoma helena's, which oddly seem to prefer the pond snails over the MTS :D

Added a blue light recently, so now i'm trying to get the lighting-hours optimal again (lots of algae again :/)

Fingers crossed it pays off for you then matey. Lighting can be a right pain in the neck. How long are you currently having it on for?
