I plan on planting my existing 10 GL mor a future one. I plan on low lights and no C02. I plan to have guppies in there and possibly a clown pleco. Heres a list i have planned:

1 Anacharis
2 Blood Stargrass
3 Japanese Fans
1 Dwarf Lily Plant
4 Dwarf Onions
1 Asian Ambulia
10 Tall Sagittaria subulata
1 small red-spot Ozelot sword
8 Crypt Walkeri
3 Java Ferns
maybe substitute hornwart for something.... -_-

The plant most often known as StarGrass, (Didiplis diandra), is actually quite a difficult plant to grow needing reasonably good light. It certainly won't develp any red colouration in less then good light. It might be something different of course, common names like these are applied to anything if it makes it sound better!

I suspect the "Japanese Fans" are non aquatic. Most things with common names like that turn out to be Ophiopogon species, which will only live a short while under water.

I'd forget the lily. If it grows at all, and throws floating leaves, it will shade the remaining plants fromthe already weak light.

Ambulia, Limnophila sessiliflora, is best grown in bunches. A single stem will look odd IMHO. It also needs at least Medium light to do well.

So how about this:

2 Anacharis
5 Dwarf Onions
10 Tall Sagittaria subulata
2 small red-spot Ozelot sword
8 Crypt Walkeri
3 Java Ferns
2 hornwart

Umm....most likley. I plan on ordering them over the internet...If I dont do that then i will buy some from my LFS. it all depends on what they have. I have never kept live plants before and just want some easy, really no matience plants :)
