Digital Cameras

Hi, I have been looking at various digital cameras. Pros and Cons, various revues. looking in the region 100-150 pounds, wanting something that a big dummy like me can use, point and shoot but would also like to be able to take some nice shots of my tanks and fish so a good macro is essential, if it has a movie mode that would be a bonus, any recomendations ?

Canon IXUS 100IS is an excellent cheap camera. IFAIK, the nearest macro range (if it makes sense) is 3cm and it has HD video recording!

Comets are selling the Panasonic Lumix FP1 for £110. It too has HD recording but I think its macro range is 10CM

I'm a Nikon person, so I can only really say about their stuff. But usually the equivalent canon stuff is just as good. The Nikon coolpix stuff from around £80 is pretty fantastic for the money. I've even seen some of the £80 ones in use by pros as a second "take everywhere" camera. Because sometimes a full SLR is a little bt big to carry around everywhere.
