Digging Blood Red Parrot

Hi everyone,

My blood red parrot keeps digging holes in the gravel, does anyone noe y?

Is it a blood parrot cichlid? I know that there are many kinds of cichlids that like to dig and shovel gravel around.

What does look like, by the way? You sometimes have to be careful buying blood parrot cichlids because they are often dyed and sold as "jellybean" blood parrots.

It is very common for parrots and other cichlids to dig and move stuff around so dont worry its perfectly normal.

Blood parrots are hybrids and are not viewed as being true Cichlids because of this.

Its the Cichlid trait in them that makes them dig.

Both Mine Love digging and moving the rocks and marbles around.

My Pink Con Parrot Loves Red Gravel and has a favorite peice it likes to move around.

Jamelia the Blood Parrot Has figured out that she can move the crystals around the tank by fanning her fins very fast. Its really funny to watch.
