Deformed goldfish!

i got a feeder goldfish for my snake but the time i put him in the tank i noticed he had 3 tails. i took him out and tried to identify him. i thought he was a fantail, but he looks like a regualer feeder gold fish but he has 3 tails!!!! There are kinda like an upside down T.

Strange but probably not unheard of. With the literally billions of them being bred yearly, it's bound to happen at least a few are going to have mutations.
 
Seeing as its a feeder fish it was probably not culled when it was discovered to be deformed as it would be eaten anyway. Most deformed commercail breed fish or even ones of the wrong colour or colour intensity are culled.
 
If you can breed it and manage to make the offspring deformed (2nd generation imbreds probably) you may be able to make some money off of it post aq picture please.
 
sorry, but the goldfish died due to his mutation and couldn't swim properly. :(

Sorry to hear that, sadly that is usually the case.
