Dechlorinating Water

Hello all, is there anyway i can dechlorinate the water without adding water conditioner/stress coat?

someone once said that you can leave a bucket of water out for a few days and that would remove itself.

Is this true? I've got a bucket with a lid on at the moment. Hoping someone can confirm if it's true

Chlorine will dissapate, but chlorimine won't. You can contact your water company to see if they add chlorimines, or if you have well water you should be able to test for it.

I tend to use the purified water with added minerals. This not only has no chlorine but no other nasties. I live in a poor water area and don't drink the stuff myself so I wouldn't give it to my fish! I know this is not a real answer to your question but something to dwell on
