No sign of nitrites, and still a touch of nitrates.  That gives me some hope.   at least some of bacteria 2 is doing it's job.

FYI - At this point in your fish in cycle getting a reading for nitrates doesn't necessarily mean that "bacteria 2" as you call them are doing their job. More than likely your tap water contains nitrates and that's what your seeing in the test.

Tested tap water. It is negative.
