Hi All,

Just returned from a lfs and discovered that they have crabs, that can go in your tank!!. LOL Is this true or is he just trying to pull a fast one

No, its true alright. You can keep Crabs in aquariums but they must have some land. Most common Crab is the Red Clawed Crab. They are really funny to watch but will try grab smaller fish when sleeping or not.
 
If you do a search for Sesarma bidens (or Perisesarma bidens) you'll find quite a lot about them. They are best kept in their own vivarium with rocks, wood, sand, and brackish water. Under such conditions they can even be bred, and the baby crabs are truly adorable.
