will hopefully be starting to stock my tank up soon and it will be a cichlid tank with some BN's in now i see some albino corys today and i really like the way they move and swim about but would they be safe in my tank with the above?

ummm well i was down my LFS chatting the the cichlid expert for about half hour really nice bloke!.... anyway he asked me what i wanted my tank to be like and narrowed it down to a group but i can't remember what they was? i can remember one was a rainbow cichlid witch he said to add first with some more but i can't remember what they all was he was saying them so quick lol

pic of the cichlid im on about

african? malawi???

hmmmm im no expert but i think that its malawi...i presume he talked to you about PH etc as they need high PH around and over the 8 mark

[if im right about it being a malawi!]

if it is then i dont think BNs or corys would be suitable...but until someone else comes along to confirm this....

Edit: after some research it isnt a malawi but from central america, not a great deal on the internet but seems like a peaceful fish able to be housed with multiple community fish, the only note i could find about tankmates would be not to put them with aggressive fish, but corys aren't so all seems good, Ive never kept these so it may be wise to wait for someone who has for some more info!
