British Livebearer Association Autumn convention, Auction and Guppy Show on
15th, 16th, 17th October 2010

Nottingham Gateway Hotel.

Lectures will take place on Saturday 16th beginning 10.30 am (approx) and are to include:
Classes:
Xiphophorus. Goodeids. Gambusia and Brachyrhaphis. Poecilia and Limia. A.O.V. Cultivated varieties (except guppies, which should be entered into the guppy show).
Tanks (supplied) must be pre-booked by 10th October the show will be judged during the afternoon of Saturday 17th .
Guppy shows:
Final round of the BLA 2010 European championship league pairs show.

Auction:
The auction will take place on Sunday 18th October starting at 10.30 am approx.

All fish must be healthy and bagged suitably.
All fish will be displayed on racks prior to sale.
The auction is open to all. Lectures on Saturday are also open to all.
Rooms:
Rooms are available at £65 per night for a double or twin and £55 per night for single rooms. A full English breakfast is included in this price.
There will be a private three- course dinner on Saturday evening at £18.50 per person.

- Rusty Wessel – Livebearers of central America. Rusty has made over 100 collecting trips. His lecture will contain video and pictures.
- Pat Lambert - Livebearer trail. Pat will need no introduction to most livebearer people. The first lady of the livebearer world will talk of Derek and her livebearer journey.
- Claus Osche – Make guppy genetics work for you. Claus is a hobbyist who has 24 years experience in breeding guppies.
- Don Kenwood- Fish ark update.
