My male bristlenose plec appears to be sitting on a yellow 'cloud'. Its hard to describe but it looks like one of our dusters, you know the yellow ones! But a little less yellow and scrunched up. Are these eggs? The problem i have is they look like cotton!! LOL  So i dont kno if they r r not!!! The yellow sack thing is fatter at one end goig down to a thinner point at the other end. Also there are like bumps in it if you know what i mean!
Please help ASAP!

Heres a pic of my bristlie fanning his eggs. Hope this helps you. I found the eggs were very noticable.

When my bnoses had eggs they were distinct eggs....not in a case or anything and a really bright orange.

Has your male made any attempt to hide the eggs?

The other thing I noticed was that he wouldn't let any other fish near them. He would viciously attack anything that went near.

the eggs should be clearly defined sphere's all grouped together...

It sounds like they may have fungus. (if they are fluffy)

Here is our maile and some eggs. Again, its not the best pic but you can see the colours and make out the eggs
