I normall buy bloodworm from my LFS and it has something on it that always stands out looks like mosquito. Today went in and couldnt see the normal one so asked the lad is this the same he said yes. I bough Daphina and when put it in the tank its all white and fluffy not like bloodworm. What is it and is it ok for my fish?

Daphnia and bloodworm are not the same thing. They are both fish food though.

I normally feed flake one night Bloodworm the next will daphnia be ok to do the same

White and fluffy sounds like brine shrimp to me? still great to feed to fish though as is daphnia and bloodworm.

Frozen daphnia are a great food. They are smaller than blood worms but at least as nutritious. They make a very good fry food once the fry are big enough to eat them.
