Betta Splendens Hybrid

Has anyone cross bred Betta splendens with another species of betta? If you have what did the offspring look like? Post pics if you have please! I know people breed bettas here so if it's possible I bet i'll see pictures on this site.

Being a massive fan of hybrid species (for personal use only), I actually have done some research on the matter a couple of months ago.
I came across a splendens, imbellis cross which looks remarkably like a normal betta, the only real differences are the doral and ventral fins.

The difference is slight, but looks nice!

i remember seeing a clip of some young black copper splendens X imbellis and they were stunning! same shape as the imbellis but with the colours of the spendens
