Betta eggies!!!

Should there be a change in the size of the eggs after like 15 hours or so? Sorry im new to this, how long does it take for the eggs to start changing in the way they look?

They are so small I don't think you would notice a change in size even if there is any. Just be patient and wait until it's been 36 hours since they spawned, it may take even longer to hatch though, it depends on the temp you have the tank. You also don't want to keep poking your face in there, you may upset the father and make him eat the good eggs. Is the father tending the nest? (picking up any eggs that drop out).

Yea he is very attentive towards the eggs, they dont even hit the ground before he scoops it up and puts it back into the nest.

good sign...from past experiances the eggs have hatched in 48 hours or less...but my temp was fairly warm.

How is everything? I am a first time breeder and want to breed bettas. Another reason that i am doing this is because my lps wants me to see if i can do it and then they will buy them off of me. Well i got a female and male and did everything that i researched and nothing.

Did you by just regular ones at a pet store?

What did you do to make a good place for the nest?

What were the steps you took?

And how long did it take?

Sorry for all the questions.
