I have had my tank a year now and have 3 mollies, two guppies, 6 tetras, 1 pleck, 1 fighter fish, two black widow and some baby mollies.
i have noticed this past week they all seem to be swimming at the top and wont swim about. is there something wrong with my tank.
the tank is 2ft long by 1ft wide, 2ft high

If they are gasping it is bad water quality, what are your test results in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

I agree with wilder although it could also be that the tank temp is too high; what temp is the tank set at?
How long has the tank been set up and do you know what type of plec you have?

have not tested it yet temp is at 26
they are useally ok but i added five barbs yesterday. dont know if that will affect it.
i will test it tommor when i finish work

not sure what plec it is. just a small one he seems ok. the tank has been set up a year never had any problems

just found a dead tetra at the bottom could this be why they are at the top
