I counted 5 stalks of hygro. But you're right; all the hygro in the tank should be together. If you have a lot then multiple patches would be ok.

I have just moved about 6 of the Hygro to the back where the plastic val was... hoping it will fill out and creat a nice full background. I think I am going to do the Java fern idea. I was hoping to get a plant that grows taller as that corner looks lost.

Actually, a Java Fern plant would reach almost to the top of your aquarium if you put it on top of the cave. Of course, that would take time; I have a year-old Java Fern plant that's about 10" high.
