Hello all.

I still tend to buy all my music on CD as I like something tangible to keep. However, I have an iTunes Voucher to spend and thought I would buy those songs where you like that one song, but would not want the rest of the album.

So.. what absolute classic tracks fit into your all time favourites that you think should end up joining my iTunes library? Old or new tracks.

Cheers,
Squid

Mmmmm, that has got the old grey matter thinking!

'Stairway to Heaven' has to be on there, the full original version - bliss

Caught by the River - Doves and Champagne Supa nova - Oasis.

gotta have some Brit pop.

Wow, depends what you like really but a few of mine would be:

Goodbye Horses - Q Lazarus

Georgie Boy - Jack Lukeman

Share The Darkness - Saw Doctors

Sweet Child O' Mine - Guns n Roses

Wild Horses - The Rolling Stones

Swamp Thing - The Chameleons

Sunday Bloody Sunday - U2

Bang On The Ear - Waterboys

and one you'll not have heard of - Too Many Thorns by The Purple Effect.

I love an ecclectic mix of music from classical, rock, metal , pop, etc. etc. etc....

These are just a few that tug my heartstrings every time.

also, you need 'One day like this' by Elbow.

A bloke I know owns the house where that was written. His wifes parents rented the house out to the band, and it was 'supposedly' linked to the lyrics for that song (headly grange I think). The music/riffs were done in wales.

Good choice..will check to see if I already have it!
