72 Gallon Bowfront

My favorite lfs has a 72 gallon bowfront setup (tank, hood, light and stand) that I've been repeatedly checking out. It's very attractive and I like the looks of the curved glass. Plus the stand is made of real wood and it's stained natural.

Are there any disadvantages to a bowfront? Also, it's "drilled" (for the filter?) Is that good or bad?

the only disadvantage i can think of is that the bow front can make the fish look funny but they are really nice looking tanks

You can't really take pictures with a bowfront

I've never had one, but unlike round tanks I've seen, I've never seen a bowfront that distorted its contents. I'll have one myself one day...
