11" Common Plec

How much do I feed the plec? I've been giving him one algae wafer every day. I've never seen it gulp flakes from the top of the tank. He keeps the 75 gallon tank algae-free. I think he's okay because he doesn't look skinny and his stomach isn't sunken in, but only one wafer for such a big fish? Any advice is appreciated.

I have an ever growing common (now going on for 14ins). His daily food intake is as many wafers as he can get and at least one piece of either fruit or veg.
