Is it okay to put shrimp in a 1.5 gallon tank?

i got 20 red cherry shrimp in my 2.5 gallon

not sure if that helps though

Yes, just be careful not to overfeed and keep some fast growing plants.

I'd only attempt it with the smaller species like cherries.
