Yeah, I was super close, and so holding my breath! I didn't know how he would react to having a camera lens a foot from his face, not to mention the plant he is in is also attracts a lot of bees.

It's fine, we all get mixed up at times. It's nothing to feel bad about.I don't know why I called it a locust, I know better. Gorgeous shots, both of them. I usually just find the empty shells, or the bodies after they have gotten old and died. Years ago I watched one emerge but that was before digital cameras...
