One of my Zebrafish has a red mouth looks like the colour of blood it's the fish ill?

Yes i'm afraid so, how many gallons or litres is the tank, how many fish and which type, can you post water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph, its bacterial, what your location for a med, plus can you issolate the fish.
Also is the fish having trouble opening and shutting the mouth.
Also check the fish for red patches on the belly.

Any red patches on the tummy area.

fish seems to eat ok and the tank is 50 litres with 2x zebra fish 4x neon 2x catfish 1 candy loach and 1 red tailed shark

no patches on belly that i can see always moving very fast little bugger had water checked other day by petshop and everything was fine aprt from high nitrates which have now been sorted and ph is 7.2 hopes thats everything

You do realise that the red tailed shark needs a 40gal tank, and he will be aggressive and that tank is way to small for him, i will have to check the zebra fish out and the candy loach.
I would add a bacterial med to the tank, are you sure he hasn't damaged his mouth on something in the tank.

Is the zebra fish a danio or one of them fish that glow in the dark.

The candy loach needs a bigger tank as well.

yeah it's a danio as for the shark and the loach I was told they would be fine and i have had no problems from them for the last 6 months they seem very happy.

Be prepared for the red tailed shark getting pissed over time in that tank, as it to small, and he will start to pick the fish off one by one.
