Hi

Thinking of getting a Zebra Loach, I've read that they need to be kept in groups of three or more or they can be agressive to other fish

In my tank I currently have a bristlenose catfish (5cms long so far) 3 female platies, a pair of green sailfin mollies, a few platy fry.

Your advice would be appreciated.

i think a group of 3 would be fine.

most of the botia species are not aggressive in my experience..although those platy fry might become a snack, unless they are a bit bigger. but loaches love looking around in rocks and stuff all day for food, so most fry would probably get gobbled up.

I've had yoyo, and kubotai, neither are aggressive in my experience.

what size is your tank? as they unfortinatly do need a fairly bigish tank, they are best kept in 3 and will only bicker between themselves usualy, so you need a few caves ect for them to hide in from each other lol

they are very nice fish and help clean up :good:
