Zebra Danios

what kind of fish is zebra danios? live bearer?
my zebra danios is pregnant, has really big tomy!! what should i do?
help please..

No - definately not a live bearer, they are Cyprinids I believe.
My new Leapoard Danios have huge abdomens and wondering if there is something wrong. They are all very active, so it does not seem so. They have very large appetites, which could be an explanation.

Zebra Danios are egg layers. They will lay eggs in the tank, and the babies will hatch anywhere from 36 to 48 hours, (that's one to two days).

They usually drop them in the gravel. If you intend to breed it is best to have marbles as the bottom substrate.
