Hiya, I just have a quick question about my zebra danios. When I look closely at two of them, they seem to have little barbels ... but any of the pictures in my books don't seem to have any?!? Also, these ones seem to be a little bit territorial! Nothing too agressive but they've kinda made areas of the tank where they like to hang around and they chase after any of the others that come near them! But only their own kind ... I have platys and guppies in with them and they don't seem to mind if they come close to them! Maybe this stuff is normal, I was just wondering!!!

This was a question I was meaning to ask myself but forgot to. One of my six Zebras has a whisker on each side of it's mouth too. He, I think he's male anyway, seems to be in charge and whenever their startled they seem to follow him wherever he goes, maybe just a coincidence but strange all the same. I was wondering if any of the experts here knew why this was. Is it something to do with wild caught against tank bred or is it different lines of breeding? :)
