hi iv a 34 gallon tank ph 7 temp between 26 and 27C ammonia 0 nitrites 0 nitrate 20 ppm and 1 of my danios had a whiteish graze on top but today its gone very bad u can see pink now like flesh. iv treated with melafix but not sure if that the right thing. stocking is 7 swords 4 danios 2 guppies 7 mollies 2 otos and 2 clown loaches so there nothing in it that mite attack it and nothing sharp it could scrape off so anyone any ideas

Sounds like an ulcer does it have a circling of dead white skin around the edges.

not that i can see off the danios are so fast to try see but it was white before today

You will need a bacterial med like anti internal bacteria by interpet.
Can you issolate the sick fish.

i could isolate it in either a breeding net or a goldifsh bowl but no heater or filter for it

Ok you will have to medicate the whole tank then, sounds like it getting worse so will need to treat.

it sounds like an ulcer it jus at base of dorsal fin. says there u can use melafix so im doin ok but goin go lfs and see if there anytin else they got

Melafix does have it uses but not on your fish as it seems to be getting worse fast and the anti internal bacteria med is for ulcers.
