Zebra Danio Sick?

My zebra danio is lying on its side and has a red anus and looks really bloated. This has all started withing the last 12 hours (It is 4:30 pm for me now). the rest of my danios are doing fing swimming around and very active but sick one dony even move. Any ideas? all my reading are within normal parameters, check each day because is a smaller breeding tank.

We need the exact readings for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, temperature and pH.
How long has thhis tank been set up, how big is it and how many and what fish are in it.

Are the scales on the danio sticking out so it looks like a pinecone? This sounds like dropsy unfortunately.

Levels are as follows, ammonia 0
nitrate 20
nitrite 0
temp 78
ph 6.5
tank up for two weeks is 2.5 gal and only has 2 danios in it

Has the danio been eating well before this? Any sign of weight loss?
Can you get a photo of it?
Also which country are you in cause our advice will be different depending on which meds you can get (ie in the UK, you can't buy antibiotics except through a vet but in the US and Australia you can get them from a pet store.)

Danio was eating and active, just became inactive today. I am in canada and can get meds from pet stores.

how old is the danio,if you know

ooops sorry i just saw that fish has passed on..sorry to hear that. i have extremly bad eyes at the mo because of pollen so i cant read very well.
