Well I added some new plants to my tank last night and my 2 little Bristlenoses are obviously in heaven now ! Look what my "lovely" plants looked like this morning :grr:
If fish could have a look of glee, they had it !

I'll have to figure out how I'm going to deal with this - obviously a sign that those plants aren't meant for the tank but I'm nervous just thinking about what kind of destruction lies ahead for my planted tank.
If this behaviour continues, they are out to the bigger tank :sly:

My pair are exactly the same, they dont tend to eat the ferns though, Ive got alot of fern plants in my main tank and some onion bulb plants, they cant destroy them.

That sucks Blooz :(

(By the way, do you have full tanks shots et al? I don't think I've seen your aquarium yet..)

I think you have ;)

I'm having a serious think about what I'm going to do with this tank, this weekend. I might move these girls over to the large (er) tank - where they can cause pretty much as much destruction as they like.

I'm such a dumbarse. I even posted in it lol

So, I guess they enjoyed their shrubbery! Distructive little buggers. I have a snail that I suspect likes to chew on my crypts, but he eats algae rather well, so I'm conflicted as to whether or not to include him in my dinner plans this evening. The fish absolutely adore escargot! Especially when it's deshelled and served in tasty bite-sized morsels!

Good luck with your BNs.

Oh dear..........good shots though.

Id say definatly move them if you can, id hate to have to return home each day from work or whatever and wonder if the tank is still in one piece.
