Okay, first of all I will tell you a bit about my situation etc. I have been in the "fish" hobby over 20 years now so I am no expert but not new to the keeping of fish either.
I currently have a 25 gal freshwater tank that has been running for years. Last year I had the great opportunity to have a Discus, I know you must think this sounds crazy but they are not readily available there and have to be special ordered in if you can be lucky enough to get them.
Yes it is one Discus that is the size of a mans hand, he is huge. He was very small when I first got him and was in this tank with an Angelfish the same size as him at the time. Well......now they have both grown up and like I said he is huge, my baby and I will not get rid of him no matter what.
I unfortunatley had to take in my Angel as the Discus was getting quite rough and would charge the angel all the time. So now I am left with this massive Discus, some catfish and a bristlenose. I do not have any plans on upgrading at this time but would like to know what you all think I should do in the way of giving this huge fish some company???
He only got this size from lots and lots of water changes, 2 big filters running on this tank and of course lots of good food and love.
No negative replies needed here only positive ones on what you think I should do. Leave well enough alone or add a school of some small fish etc??
Thanks......
