I just vacum cleaned my 20g for the first time it was also the first time I never removed the fish when I did a cleaning and you all were right the fish didn't seem scared at all they seemed curious and was getting close to the sucking part of the vacum and they only went away from it when it came towards them. :p

Edit:
Oh.
I've never heard of anyone taking their fish out while doibng a water change....Intresting.

No I meant it was the first vacum cleaning to the 20g and it was the first time I ever did a vacum cleaning with the fish in it. But the wierd thing was that usually when I vacum clean the 10g tank their is alot of poop at the bottom of the bucket but when I vacum cleaned the long 20g their wasn't that much poop in there. Is this normal or is the pleco eating the poo

No fish eat poo.

EDITED - inappropriate joke

probably the reason there's such a big difference is you were only performing water changes about every two months on the 10g

Well, when i first started keeping fish with my 5 gallon... i used to take out all the fish... empty out all the water... and then clean the gravel and put everything back in.... it was very interesting to say the least... at least now i know a lot lot lot more about fish! hehehehe

pica_nuttalli no in the 10g I did it every month and the fish are even smaller than the last group of fish that were in their.
