Ok I have a 30gl.... with:

6neons (i can move)
2 cherry barbs
1 dwarf gouramie
1 female betta(i can move)
2 mystery snails....choose!

either...1 pair of Firemouths OR 1 pair of Convicts

um, i dont think id add any of the cichlids to that tank. maybe the firemouths, but definetly NOT the cons. theyd kill everything. maybe if the barbs were kept in a school, like the should be..., because ive herd of danios and cons in small tanks, but still. Id say no to either.

if you really want some NW's go with rams. but not a pair, just two unsexed rams. Or you can do kribs, if you like africans.

well when i got the barbs (before i got them) i heard that cherry barbs arent schoolers and only keep 2 or 3...i dunno

all barbs like schools of bout 5 .........i would say neather sorry but they r both aggresive

I would go with the T Meeki, but definatly ditch the neons and female betta.

I wouldnt go with either if you plan on keeping any of the current tank inhabitants.....

The firemouth will be fine with the gourami, but the rest might end up as fast food.
